We at CLEVER are celebrating Pride Month this year by honoring and amplifying LGBTQ+ creators in the influencer marketing space. Four CLEVER influencers will be featured throughout the month of June on our blog. These posts are intended to showcase our LGBTQ+ creators and to highlight Give OUT Day, a month-long fundraising campaign culminating on June 30, the only national day of giving for the LGBTQ community. As we kick off Pride with Give Out Day, we celebrate her and all of the LGBTQ+ influencers who create incredible content during Pride month and throughout the year!

Where are you based?
California
How long have you been a content creator?
I have been a content creator since 2015.
How did you get started? Do you remember the first thing you posted?
I started my account to find inspiration for creating a family. It was a time where my first round of IVF failed and I worried I would never become a parent. Going online inspired me that I can do it and I will find a way to become a parent. Seeing other families like the family I had envisioned for myself inspired me to continue on my journey to making a family.
What do you create content about? Why? For whom?
I create content to be part of the LGBTQ community and support my community. I felt so alone before joining this amazing community and I do believe with more accounts like mine, others won't feel so alone. This account is also to educate others who aren't part of the LGBTQ community but wish to support it.
How has your work been impacted by the pandemic?
My work has been different, being a content creator and teacher, but nevertheless, everyone has supported each other with all the changes.
What is your hope for the future?
My hope for the future is to continue to inspire others. My children are another big reason I continue to be part of this community. I do not want them to grow up feeling alone like I did. Their family looks different than their friends and it is important they see there are other families like ours and have friends from families like ours.
Which non-profit organization are you giving to for Give OUT Day and why?
Why do you think people should make a donation?
The Human Rights Campaign has always been an amazing supporter for the LGBTQ+ community. Not only are they an amazing supporter to our community but they also do a great job on educating others about our community. I enjoy being involved in this community through their social media page. They keep everyone informed of events happening all over the world for the LGBTQ+ community. They have also reached out and supported my family individually and made me feel like a valuable member to this community.
