Meet CLEVER Influencer: Anahys Ramos - Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month as a Content Creator

This September-October, we at CLEVER are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month this year by honoring and amplifying Hispanic and LatinX creators in the influencer marketing space. Four CLEVER creators have partnered with us to publish our first-ever Hispanic Heritage Month blog series. These posts are intended to provide insight into how the influencer industry can support Hispanic and LatinX creators beyond just this month.

This week we're excited to feature Anahys Ramos!

My name is Anahys Ramos. I am from Venezuela. Currently, I live in Miami, FL. I emigrated to this country about 5 years ago to have a fresh start and fight for my dreams.

From a very young age, I have always liked fashion—it is my passion. But when I arrived in Miami, I decided to make one of my dreams come true by making a clothing brand and in that moment I realized how to show my everyday looks from my brand and create quality content. It was fulfilling in my heart. And that's how I started four years ago thanks to the brand that I created with the name of Annhell. I no longer have my clothing line, but now I am a fashion and lifestyle blogger and content creator.

I love being creative, networking,  and keeping up to date on the updates of the marketing/social media platforms. Since now this is my job and I need to be on the lookout for new things, every day.

  • How does your content reflect or celebrate Hispanic Heritage month?

We are in Hispanic Heritage Month. And as the Latina that I am, I am very proud of myself and how I achieved my dreams.

By making a few changes, having good habits, working hard, and taking baby steps to lead to where I am now. My work and effort as an immigrant;  it has not been easy, but if you fight for what you want... then you will see your dreams becoming a reality. I always keep in mind my roots, where I come from, and who I am. Because I love my roots! I love, love, love having Hispanic friends and creating content for Latin brands. Because they represent me and we are here to support and help each other out.

  • What does it mean for you to be a Hispanic or LatinX content creator in the influencer marketing industry/your vertical?

This month, we must celebrate it with pride, be united as Latinos and Hispanics, celebrate our cultures, our food, and music. Also, by celebrating and projecting our Hispanic roots.

Being a Latino content creator it’s a beautiful thing. Because it gives me the chance to be open to new possible opportunities. Nowadays, this has become a wide market in the virtual world.

Creating content for Latin brands has been one of the main focuses. As a Latina, I love to support them and show the world that Latinos don’t compete with each other. Because we help each other out and succeed together, also, I love to work with American/European brands. Because it’s an honor for me as Latina to be chosen to represent their company.

  • As an influencer in the Latin American, Hispanic-American, or LatinX community, what message do you want brands and the influencer marketing industry to hear loud and clear? What are your hopes for the future?

I have always been a person who believes in vision boards, manifests, and works towards her goals. I know many more Latin brands will be created and I will be there to work with them as well. We have the power in our veins, we have dreams, goals, we are kind, we have charisma, and we reflect that wherever we go and in our work.

Hispanic Heritage month should not only be celebrated in September - I feel that every single day [Hispanic Heritage Month] should be celebrated. Brands and content creators must always highlight our roots, perhaps once a month brands can create campaigns with a Latino base , making themselves known or settling where we are from, I think this would be a great idea.

  • Who are your favorite LatinX or Hispanic content creators we should follow?

Finally, I want to tell you about my favorite Hispanic content creators:

I am proud to be Venezuelan, Latina, and I am happy to be in this country fulfilling my dreams without forgetting my Hispanic roots and where I am from.

Happy Latin American Heritage Month!
